HOUSING CHOICES RESOURCE FAIR
Call for Resource Service Providers

Community Empowerment Resource Fairs General Overview

TxDOT invites community-based service providers to participate in its free Community Empowerment Resource Fairs, focused on housing choices for the four communities most impacted by the I-45 North Houston Highway Improvement Project (NHHIP) right-of-way acquisitions.

Each fair will convene independent community-based housing organizations and businesses that provide free information and support services for home buyers, renters, home builders, and developers in the respective communities. Organizations that serve any of the four communities are invited to host a complimentary booth. To request participation, please complete the Call for Community-Based Service Providers Form by Feb. 9 to ensure that exhibit booths are available.

Up to 15 organizations will be selected per community through a fair and transparent process based on the selection criteria below.

To be considered for participation as a Resource Service Provider, please submit your registration no later than 5:00 p.m. on Monday, February 9, 2026, or until event capacity has been reached. Registration will automatically close once capacity is met. TxDOT will notify selected providers of their participation in one or more fairs by Wednesday, February 11, 2026. Non‑profit organizations classified under 501(c)(3) are subject to the same deadline and capacity limits.

If your agency is not selected to participate in the resource fair, you may still have the opportunity to be included in the electronic Service Provider Resource Book.

Please provide either a website URL or a social media handle.
